Description
Eye Wash Spray 50 ml is a convenient and easy-to-use eye wash spray for rapid treatment of eye injuries caused by dirt, dust, chemicals or corrosive substances. The spray contains 50 ml of buffered 0.9% sodium chloride solution, producing a fine mist and providing up to 3 minutes of effective rinsing time.
In case of chemical burns, it is extremely important to begin rinsing immediately, preferably within seconds. For acid burns, approximately 5 minutes of rinsing is recommended, while alkaline burns require at least 20–30 minutes. For severe eye injuries, rinsing should continue throughout transport to medical care.
The spray bottle is fitted with a safety seal that guarantees the full rinsing time as long as the seal remains intact. Once the seal has been broken, the spray should only be used for wound cleansing or cooling burns, as the full rinsing time can no longer be guaranteed.
The eye wash spray is ideal for use together with the 35 mm single holder (art. no. 2040), making it easy to quickly remove and carry to the injured person or during transport to medical care.
